God Power

Genesis 39:2 "The Lord was with Joseph, so he succeeded in everything he did as he served in the home of his Egyptian master."

Joseph succeeded because the Lord was with him. I spent today at a Kid's Leader Conference called "Power Up." I'm a Children worship leader and preschool/2-3 year old helper. So many neat ideas were brought to my attention to help the kids in their walk with God. As I was there, I must admit, I felt quite overwhelmed, and I felt absolutely unqualified. This verse is a sweet reminder to me, though, that success in the kid's ministry is not going to come by me. It's going to come through what God does through me as He is with me. As a wonderful saying goes, "God does not call the qualified; he qualifies the called."-Unknown.

Dear Lord,
As I'm sitting in bed getting ready to rest before going to church tomorrow to worship You and lead kids in worship, I am feeling quite unqualified. I'm tired and filled with great expectations for our near future, but those hopes will take time and effort to accomplish. Praise You, God, that in my weakness, it is there that Your power is made perfect. Go before me as I step out with a servant's heart to lead Your precious children into worshiping You. Please, qualify me, a weak, tired person whom You called to use in this ministry. In Your Name I pray. I love you! Amen.
