Exodus 10:1-2 "Then the Lord said to Moses, 'Return to Pharaoh and make your demands again. I have made him and his officials stubborn so I can display my miraculous signs among them. I've also done it so you can tell your children and grandchildren about how I made a mockery of the Egyptians and about the signs I displayed among them-and so you will know that I am the Lord.'"
The plagues are on thing that were hard to grasp for me before. We are accountable for our actions, but what about when God hardened Pharaoh's heart. It seemed like it wasn't Pharaoh's choice. I still don't understand that part, but I just have to accept that God is God, and I am not, so I need to simply accept that. With the plague's, though, I see how God did what He did to display His power. He didn't do it to be mean. It was to reveal Himself to the Israelites and the Egyptians. The main thing I found today that I never thought of before was that the Egyptians would've thought that it was a livestock god that was killing their livestock had all the other plagues not been happening. God wants us to know Him. He has revealed Himself to us in so many ways.
Dear God,
Thank You for being a God who wants a relationship with us. Thank You for having a relationship with me. I love You! Amen.
