Leviticus 17:11 "... for the life of the body is in its blood. I have given you the blood on the altar to purify you, making you right with the Lord. It is a life, that makes purification possible."
It is by the blood Jesus shed on the cross that we are purified. Only by His blood. Without being covered in His blood, we have no life in us, because the life of the body is in the blood.
Dear Jesus,
Thank You for the blood You shed for me. I could never deserve the love You showed me.Please, wash me clean from my sins. Purify me with Your blood, because there is no other way I can ever be cleansed from my sins. I love You, Jesus! Words could never describe how holy and perfect and wonderful You are. Please, make me more like You. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
