1 Samuel 24:12 "'May the Lord judge between us. Perhaps the Lord will punish you for what you are trying to do to me, but I will never harm you.'"
David was given two opportunities to kill Saul. Saul had chased David and attempted to kill him, but, when David was given the choice to get revenge, he left it in God's hands. In life, we will have plenty of opportunities to "take revenge," but we have the choice, just like David did, to "get revenge" or leave it up to God what punishment they receive. The choice is up to us!
Dear Lord,
Thank You that I don't have to try to "get revenge." Thank You for taking care of it for me. Judge between my enemies and me, and You be the Judge. In Jesus' Name. I love You! Amen.
